Give me the Flowers while I Live

What use is a bouquet of roses laid on the casket of someone who has passed when they can’t see its beauty, smell its aroma, or feel the love in the act of your giving? It is far better to give them a bouquet of flowers while they live to help cheer them on, useless the flowers that are given after the soul has gone.

People have more nice things said about them after they are departed than they had ever heard while they were living. Don’t save nice things to say about someone until after they have passed,  if you have nice things to say about someone say it while they live so they can be encouraged and appreciate the nice things you say about them.
