The Twistedness of Man's Twisted Religious Mind.
“Reprobate
infants are vipers of vengeance, which Jehovah will hold over hell, in
the tongs of his wrath, till they turn and spit venom in his face!”
Is
this preacher preaching the "Good News Gospel? Is he referring to the
God that Jesus was the express image of? Is this God the loving,
merciful, forgiving God of scripture?
This famous preacher also asks the following question regarding earthly fathers.
“Can the believing father in Heaven be happy with his unbelieving children in Hell?”
What do you suppose his answer to the question is?
“…it [the sight of his children in Hell] will increase rather than diminish his bliss.”
The
famous preacher by the name of Jonathan Edwards made the above
quotes...Now please tell me....are these fear-mongering, God defacing,
ideas spawned in heaven or in Edward's Hell?
The
idea that the "christian religion" would teach that dad's will
rejoice, and experience “increased bliss” at the sight of his children
being barbecued alive in an eternal hell, is not only gut wrenching, it
is downright revolting, and, in my humble opinion, utterly as demonic as is
any cult that exist.
Well...you may say; that was the idea back in Edward's day Christianity is not like that now. You think not.
Here is the quote of one young preacher;
“After
witnessing again tonight and hearing AGAIN from yet another shockingly
hard-hearted person how the Bible is supposedly ‘all fiction’ and
absolutely NOTHING i said could make any difference, i must conclude
that this generation is thee most hopeless EVER. I think i have heard it
ALL now. Every last excuse, every last accusation and diatribe. And it
is crystal clear that Americans do not want Christ, no matter what. The
hearts of this people have turned to STONE. It is like bashing my head
against a brick wall talking to these people. Many of them even
contradict their own selves. I have come to hate witnessing. It is
tiresome. It is offensive to hear the awful things they say. They never
run out of excuses for rejecting Christ, yet any of the pagan ‘gods’
will do. I have tolerated the most deplorable things and shown nothing
but kindness, friendship, and love/charity to them. When the bomb or
whatever hits this country, whatever finally comes, i can’t feel no
pity. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.”
Some of the above by this preacher is palatable by most believers, but
notice the sentence preceding "UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH".
The preacher states that when apocalyptic judgement “finally” hits
this country, he will feel no pity. Why? Because he believes the people
will deserve it. And this young man, frustrated with the wickedness of
the wicked and the unbelief of the sinners, seems to be looking
forward to the fiery demise of people, whom when God created them knew full well they would not choose Him therefore, knew they would end up in "Edward's hell" ...is this really
the Gospel of God's love and grace? What kind of sadistic sickness is that kind of thinking.
In
my 65 years, I have listened to many a sermon that portrays the idea of
eternal torment for the vast majority of God's crowning glory, but to
take delight and joy from such is madness of the most diabolical,
disgusting kind and is of the devil devilish.
However,
can we blame this young preacher and the many more out there for having
this thought? Would this not be the natural response of people who have
been taught to believe that God is cooking up one “hell” of a payback
day for the sinner?
Another of Edward's quotes reads; “The sight of hell torments will exalt the happiness of the saints forever.”
Believer's
did Christ reveal to us a Father who cackles like a witch, or roars
maniacally at the sight of human suffering. No..a million times NO.
Rather, Christ reveals to us a Father who weeps and laments when His
children’s decisions invite correction. We do not serve the god of
retribution, but the God who’s heart is a full of unquenchable love for
us. Our God is not a mad dictator, demanding the sinner to make
themselves right. No, we serve a God who, at great cost to Himself,
became the cure to our sin sickness. A God who, in mercy, ran to us and
rescued us from sin and death.
This
“god” who demands damnation as recompense for offended justice, and
then enables the “righteous” to gibber, and cackle like demonic trolls
at the sight of people suffering in hell, is no God at all. He is a
figment of religion's fallen men’s mind even though they may be
pulpiteers.
The
God revealed by Christ..has appointed a day of judgement, and brings
correction and discipline to His children. However, He is a God who
Himself is the very definition of love. There is nothing that He has
ever done, or will ever do, that does not have love, life, and
redemption as it’s center! However, a belief in a god that causes us to
exuberantly anticipate the pain, suffering of innocent infant children,
and the pain of others is none other than a devil inspired religious
figment of a deceived mind, and belongs in the "Hell" of Jonathan
Edwards.
You are right when you say, "The God revealed by Christ..has appointed a day of judgement."
ReplyDeleteIn that day no one will get off with a slap on the wrest like some do today because they have a slick lawyer to defend them. Christ spoke about how horrible that day of judgment would be in Mark 9:
43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched
Notice three times in a row he mentions what hell is like.
I`ll believe what Christ has said before I believe what modern day itching ear preachers say.
