Are You a Stranger to the Cross?

You may be Religious BUT, You may still be a Stranger to the Cross.

If you repent to get you sins forgiven rather then repent because Christ has already forgiven your sin.

If you have claimed Christ as Lord, yet you live as if religion is your Lord.

If you boast of a hunger for knowing the written word, but have little hunger to know the Living Word.

If you wallow in an over abundance of self-righteousness, but are shallow in Christ righteousness.

If you abuse and misuse God's Grace by being a Grace-Butter, rather than live in God's Grace as a Grace-Lover.

If your prayer life is more about receiving from God rather than giving to God.

If your praises to God are more for public show rather than worship before God.

If you are more concerned about your actions in the Sunday-go-meeting rather than you are in your daily living.

You view the Gospel as a way judge and condemn people to the torture chamber of an everlasting hell rather than lovingly loving people to the way of Christ.

If you view Grace as a ticket to escape hell and a pass to heaven rather than empowerment to live godly and lovingly on this earth.

If you lift and twist biblical text out of context to prove your man-made beliefs rather than let the context of the text formulate and determine what you believe.

YOU MAY  STILL BE A STRANGER TO GOD, THE CROSS, THE RESURRECTION AND THE GOSPEL!
