Religion vs Relational Life


* Religion conforms people to a system, devised and controlled by man; relational life frees them to trust God and be a part of the Church that Jesus is building..

* Religion divides people by preference and perspective under respective denominations; relational life celebrates the incredible diversity in God's family based only on being a member of Christs' Body.

* Religion bores people with routine; relational life is as fresh as a new conversation with an endearing friend.

* Religion rewards image and pretense; relational life demands honesty and reality.

* Religion provides substitutes for the active presence of Jesus in people's lives; relational life focuses on that presence alone.

* Religion sacrifices people for the good of the institution; relational life teaches people how to live together as Father's family.

* Religion uses what God says and does for its own agenda; relational life allows God to set the agenda and for us to simply follow him.

* Religion leaves us able to boast about how much we're doing or how hard we're working; relational life finds joy only in celebrating God's work among us.

* Religion finds love inefficient and cumbersome; relational life embraces love as the heart of God's working.

Hell...does religion have the facts?

Dare I ask? Hey, I am just asking!!!! Is it possible that the religious world could be wrong in their understanding of the doctrine of Hell? Is it possible that they hold to deception's lie as truth, through misinterpretation and misunderstanding of the Bible on the subject as taught by misinformed denominated seminarians? If the accepted doctrine of hell is correct what does that do to God's mercy enduring for ever as recorded in Psalm 136:1...what does it do to God's love that is never ending as stated in 1 Corinthians 13:8. HAPPY DADS AND THE HORRORS OF HELL by Jeff Turner Jonathan Edwards once said the following words: “Reprobate infants are vipers of vengeance, which Jehovah will hold over hell, in the tongs of his wrath, till they turn and spit venom in his face!” Elsewhere, Edwards asked the question: “Can the believing father in Heaven be happy with his unbelieving children in Hell?” Now, a bit of clarification: Edwards is not referring to God when he speaks of the “believing father in Heaven”. Rather, he is speaking an earthly father who enters Heaven, while His children are sentenced to an eternity in Hell.
