Who are we being taught by?
John 6:45, "It is written in the prophets, 'and they shall be taught by God.'"
I wonder, if new believers were taught by God regarding who He is, rather than being indoctrinated with denominational influences by indoctrinated men as to who they think He is as per their philosophy, would Church be church as it is culturally accepted today.
This indoctrination by indoctrinated men subjects the new and the older believer to a preset mind-set where the scripture is interpreted by indoctrinated assumptions and presumptions that have nothing to do with the context of the written word of God. As a result, they read the scriptures with their mind already made up and interpret in light
of what they believe rather than allowing the scripture to formulate what they believe. Believers start their journey with Christ with assumptions and presumptions that have nothing to do with the written word of God or God Himself.
New believers are made disciples of man-bred, man-led and man-fed religious systems instead of being made disciples of Christ as the scripture teaches they should be. This is a blatant disregard for the authority of Christ and His Headship of His Church.
How we humans can ever think we comprehend enough about the God of the universe, the God who created and maintains the world, the God who is infinite, all knowing, all powerful, everywhere present. The God who has no past, present and future, He is always in the NOW!
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence. If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee Psalm 139:6-12.
David is saying that what God knows about him is beyond His understanding, the knowledge that God has is to high for Him to attain.
God being every present means you cannot pray form Him to make an appearance, you cannot hide from Him, you do not fool Him the way you fool people of the things you do in secret by putting on your "Holier than thou" attitude in the in the midst of people to show forth your spirituality. God is everywhere right now, he is not scattered with a part of him in Labrador City another part of Him in Africa...a part of Him is not in the Pentecostal Sunday-go-meeting and another part in the Independent Sunday-go-meeting. He is everywhere right now, as a whole being. It is only in Him that "all things are held together" (Col. 1:17).
Try to understand this if you can. The same time that God is everywhere He is with every believer in a unique, personal, and abiding relationship of love and compassion. Not only is He with you, He is in you. Not only is He in you, you are in Him.
Now please tell me...how can puny, finite, denominational programmed man, suppose he understands God enough to teach Who He is to other people? Believers are to point people to God and not try to reveal God to people. God is His own revealor, for it is only He that knows Himself well enough to make Himself known to man.
Be blessed, rest in the fact that you cannot go where God is not, and that He knows you and wants to reveal aspects of Himself to you personally, instead of through some man who thinks he understands Him.
