Deception's Deceived are MANY...Who Are They? Part 1

In Matthew 7:22, Jesus says that “MANY will say to Me in that day, Lord! Lord, Was it not in Your name that we prophesy, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name do many wonderful works? Then I will say to them, I never knew you. Depart from Me, workers of iniquity."

Who are the ones deceiving the "MANY?"
Who are the "Many" that are deceived?
Who are the "Many" that are workers of iniquity?"

We read many times in the scriptures of false Christ’s, deceitful workers, false prophets, false brethren, deceivers, wolves, false shepherds, false teachers, etc.

How can we recognize them?   What distinguishes them as such?  One thing is for sure...there are MANY of them.  Jesus tells us so.  He not only tells us so, but He also identifies who the MANY are!

The identifiers as to who they are:
1.  There are many of them.
2.  They have prophesied (taught the Bible; preached sermons) in the name of Jesus.
3.  They have driven out demons in the name of Jesus.
4.  They have done many wonderful works in the name of Jesus.
5.  They have come in the name of Jesus, saying that Jesus is the Christ.

These identifiers are the traits of the deceived MANY, who deceive MANY!  "For MANY shall be coming in My name, saying, I am the Christ and shall be deceiving MANY." (Matthew 24:5

So, who are the "MANY" today who preach that Jesus is the Christ; teach about Him in the Bible; rule over His people in His name?  Who are the ones who are casting away devils in His name?  Who are the ones who do MANY wonderful works in the name of Jesus Christ?  Not according to Glenn Regular...but...according to Jesus, just who are these MANY deceivers, and the MANY deceived?

Is it the Jews of Judaism...Is it the Chinese of Buddhism...Is it Indians of Sikhism...Is it the confused people of Confucianism...Is it the pagans of Paganism...Is it Indonesian's Hinduism... or any of the other isms out there? Or, maybe it is the Islam of the Muslims?

Do any of these "isms" preach, teach, cast out devils, and do many wonderful works in the name of Jesus Christ? I think we would all agree to NO! Therefore, we can rule them out.

So, who are the MANY referred to?  Here is food for thought...could it be the denominalized, Christianized religious name-tagged buildings dotted throughout the towns and cities of the world!  Could it be the millions and millions of professing Christians in the world today who are members of these denominated buildings, and who teach and preach in His name, cast out demons in His name, heal the sick in His name and do MANY wonderful works in His name!

Could these be the “MANY” that Jesus is warning believers about.  If it is, very few of them are heeding His warning? Are these the people to watch out for...to be on guard against?  Are these are the people who are guilty of being “workers of iniquity" while maintaining they are workers for God because of the deep devilish deceptions they they have accepted as truth and are now blinded to the truth?

Is not this the same issue Jesus talked about in Matthew 24? “For MANY shall be coming in My name, saying, I am the Christ and shall be deceiving MANY."

MANY religionists today teach and preach that Jesus is in fact, the Christ.  They even proudly proclaim to the have the mind of God for people's healing, people's prosperity, and for driving the devil out, as long as they themselves receive the people's giving!  


Are these religionists the GREAT DECEIVERS who are DECEIVING and BEING DECEIVED!
