Is Spiritual Unity without Physical Unity, the Unity Jesus prayed for?

Could it be that the exodus of people from denominational “churches” and the declining influence that religion has on people and society as whole a “GOD THING” because RELIGION is not a “GOD THING” but, a “MAN THING”? Is the exodus from religion comprised of a part of HIS “CHURCH” leaving the “church” of man! Is the Church of Jesus Christ on the move to becoming UNITED as ONE BODY under ONE HEAD...JESUS!

It matters not how many people are united by the unity thread of religious conformity and meet in buildings called churches, it does not constitute the unity that Jesus prayed for nor is it the Church that Jesus is building!

A fresh perspective regarding doctrinal issues which divide the Body of Christ urgently needs to be re-visited from the perspective of what distinguishes latent religious viruses of propaganda and ideology concerning these doctrinal issues which divide rather than unite.

It is not enough to maintain that no matter how much we claim we are united spiritual through Jesus on the essentials, yet divided over Bible interpretation and doctrinal beliefs that leads to denominational segregation that we are still in unity. Jesus said; “by this shall ALL MEN KNOW you are my DISCIPLES, by the LOVE you have for one another.

All men do not see into or comprehend the spiritual realm to see the spiritual unity that religion seems to be satisfied with. But ALL men can see the manifestation of spiritual unity is the external unity of togetherness that will end the segregation of the body to become united under it’s Head, Jesus Christ.

Propaganda and self-deception exist in religion that claims spiritual unity while practicing physical segregation, which is intended to manipulate people’s feelings to accept the false feeling of unity is an oxymoron that is moronic.

To be separately segregated into separate groups based denominated denominationalism, is to be out of relational fellowship with other members of the body of Christ because of voluntary segregation. This deliberate refusal to be in a relational relationship with all of God’s people is to sin the sin of schism.

This sinning is a deliberate choice of the saints, who claim they are not sinners, by refusing to be one as Christ said His Father and He are one.

The response by sinning saints is that we are united in Jesus by being born again, which is a true fact. But, if that is what  Jesus was talking about, His prayer for unity was an unnecessary prayer for the people that God gave Him and people who would come to know Him. Why, because if the unity He prayed for is a spiritual unity, it is automatic upon receiving Him thus, no need for the prayer in John 17:20-21  “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

Also spiritual unity is not the unity that people of the world can see or know that His people are one and are His loving disciples who are known by the love they have for one another! By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (John 13:35)

Barnes Notes on the Bible puts it this way; “By this shall all men ... - That is, your love for each other shall be so decisive evidence that you are like the Saviour, that all people shall see and know it. It shall be the thing by which you shall be known among all men. You shall not be known by special rites or habits; not by a special form of dress or manner of speech; not by special austerities and unusual customs, like the Pharisees, the Essenes, or the scribes, but by deep, genuine, and tender affection. And it is well known it was this which eminently distinguished the first Christians, and was the subject of remark by the surrounding pagans. "See," said the pagan, "see how they love one another! They are ready to lay down their lives for each other."

Weather we believe it or not...sinning saints who sin the sin of schism are committing sin therefore; are they not sinners?
