The Power of Deception

The power of deception is in concealing the truth by the acts, works and words of someone. Deception's power is in its source and in the context that is hidden from us. When Satan temps us, he doesn't say "I am the devil and I want you to obey me." He comes as an angel of light and we receive emotions and thoughts that are linked to our ego, to our desires or our perceived version of truth and we make decisions on that basis. Satan does not want us to know when we are obeying him. We are not aware that it is him. He hides himself in deception and causes us to walk in darkness. His ability is in the power to hide truth and convince people of non-truth and to accept that non-truth as truth.

Deception is the most powerful tool in Satan's arsenal. Through it, Satan can make us feel we are OK, when in reality we are living a lie. Satan can divide the Church, the family and our own walk with the Lord and cause
us to believe we are believing and practicing the truth.

The opposite of deception is truth. That is why Jesus said that "the TRUTH will make you free." The truth of TRUTH will give us what is real and needed to be totally free. As we walk in obedience to truth, Jesus manifests and unveils Himself. When we walk in the truth (light), we don't see our life, we see His.

When we walk in Satan's lie, we don't see Satan, we see ourselves and accept his deceptions as truth.

"MME, MME"...I wonder,...Is Satan’s greatest deception the deceptions within religion that are accepted as truth!

The Abusive Tool of Fear-Mongering.

  Fear mongering is an abusive tool used by religion which cripples and limits one's spiritual growth to mature to the full stature of Christ. The fear mongering propaganda that is used as a means to get people saved speaks volumes about the quality of love used to try and scare people to become Christ followers. The scriptures declare that is is the “goodness of God that leads to repentance.” Another characteristic of  fear mongering believers is that they believe that natural disasters are God’s doing and are warnings or punishment for the sin of sinning people. Their sin consciousnesses has blurred their God consciousnesses to where they see God as the big bad wolf waiting to pounce on somebody for sinning.
