Preacher Tricksters and Tricked Believers.

Image
The reason preacher tricksters and tricked believers state that, "The Lord told me", "God is a killer", "God hates sinners" "You are either God's child or hell's child" and quote verses out of context to validate the sayings is to avoid people's questioning of the subject at hand, because it implies that, since God has spoken, there is no room for questioning. Such fear-mongering is neither from God or godly, in actual fact it is aiding and abetting doctrines of devils. Another phrase that is used is, "Support my ministry, and God will repay you a hundred fold return because God is no man's debtor." "God has called this ministry to reach the world, but it will take your giving." Preacher Tricksters take scriptures out of context to keep their members in context with their view of their out-of-context interpretation and give more authenticity to their ministry and leadership. Some religious groups view

Misconceptions about Satan.

Image
How many have heard or read and believe the following: "When you carry the Bible...Satan gets a headache." "When you open the Bible...Satan falters and collapses." "When Satan sees you reading the Bible...he gets weak." "When you stand on the Bible...Satan can't hurt you."   I believe a little different! When you carry the Bible...Satan gets a head-rush. When you open the Bible...Satan relaxes, thinking he is stronger. When Satan sees you reading the Bible...he confuses and frustrates you. When you stand on the Bible...Satan dances the dance of the victor because he can hurt you. Why? Because...carrying, opening, reading and standing on the Bible does not cause Satan to tremble with knee-knocking fear or give one victory over him. No doubt he would like people to think and believe so, and as the great deceiver he has deceived many of God's people to believe so. His deception is accepted by many believers. Let me ask...If there was no

Do You Believe the Bible is:

Image
There are many people out there who believe...The Bible is: B...Basic I...Instructions B...Before L...Leaving E...Earth If that is our philosophy regarding the Bible and the Gospel...no wonder...people believe that believers are too heavenly minded to be any earthly good! First and foremost the Bible is not a book to get us fitted for heaven...rather the Bible is a book to fit us for living gracefully and godly in the earth. The Bible and the Gospel is far more about getting the atmosphere of heaven to earth by God working in and through His people to fill the earth with His glory...than it is getting the atmosphere of earth to heaven by taking religious mind-setted people to heaven! People are already fitted for heaven, Jesus saw to that through His finished work on the cross...the problem is getting religious-mind-setted people fit to live on the earth so they can fulfill the plan of God for the Community of Humanity by Him doing His work through religionless-believer

Trivializing the Finished Work of Jesus.

Image
When people claim that God is judging people and nations because of their sin...THEY ARE TRIVIALIZING the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Did Jesus finish the reason for His going to the cross? If He didn't He was telling a lie when He said "It is finished". If He did finish His work, people who add man's work to His finished work in order to gain or maintain salvation are actually calling Jesus is a fraud and a liar! If God is judging sin today by sending calamity and disaster on people and nations because of their sin, then that means Jesus didn't finish His work in dealing with the sin problem once and for all.  Jesus says, “I will never again remember their sins and lawless deeds.” And when sins have been forgiven, there is no need to offer any more sacrifices. (Hebrews 10:12-18). Either Jesus paid it all, or He didn’t pay it all. If He didn’t then we might as well hang up our hats and whistle dixie! In that case the whole Gospel is a farce and

Spiritual-Drain-Syndrome-Disease.

Image
Are you suffering from the...spiritual-drain-syndrome-disease...if you are, consider changing what you believe the bible says. The religious-gospel is a performance trap that has befuddled the minds of believers into the confused thinking that their "spiritual-worth" is based on "religious-performance-worthiness." This leads to all kinds of ungodliness including...a religious-superiority-complex...judgementalism...condemnation...expectation keeping...religious conformation...and hypocrisy...this kind of action is Gospel stifling and a God turnoff! The agenda-expectation-keeping of performance-trap-religion drains us of spiritual vitality that is needed for grace-life-living because of spiritual dis-ease! The religious-performance-trap gospel is exactly what Jesus was talking about freeing us from when he said; "Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy

THE HELL OF THE RELIGIOUS HELL! .

Image
Here is "Our Lady of Fatima's" account of what she claims she saw in her vision of hell! "Plunged in this fire were demons and souls in human form, like transparent burning embers, all blackened or burnished bronze, floating about in the conflagration, now raised into the air by the flames that issued from within themselves together with great clouds of smoke, now falling back on every side like sparks in a huge fire, without weight or equilibrium, and amid shrieks and groans of pain and despair, which horrified us and made us tremble with fear. (It must have been this sight which caused me to cry out, as people say they heard me.) The demons could be distinguished (from the souls of the damned) by their terrifying and repellent likeness to frightful and unknown animals, all black and transparent."  Now, who in the name of all that is godly, would believe that a loving, merciful, compassionate, caring Father, who created all people from His heart of LO

Christ's Superior Gospel.

Image
I am perplexed by a perplexing issue, at least the issue is perplexing to me as a follower of Jesus, Who has ALL power in heaven and earth.  Why is it that the vast majority of Jesus' followers have more faith in Adam's disobedience and its effect on humanity, in that they have no problem believing that ALL includes EVERYBODY that was ever born or will be born are born in sin? Yet, refuse to believe in the superiority of Christ's obedience and its effect on humanity, in that ALL people born in the...past...present...or future, died in Christ. Why do they believe that the power of Satan to keep sinners in sin...is greater than the power of Christ to save sinners from sin? How many people were in Adam? ALL...All followers of Christ believe ALL means EVERYBODY! How many people were in Christ? ALL...why is it that the majority of the followers of Christ do not believe ALL means EVERYBODY here?   2 Cor. 5:14 says, “If Christ died for ALL", then ALL that Chris

God the Righteous Judge...Part 2

Image
Jesus shows us that God brings justice through mercy and compassion to accomplish reconciliation...not punitive measures inflicting suffering. "I will put my Spirit on him and he will proclaim justice to the nations...a bruised reed will he not break, and a smoldering wick will he not snuff out, till he leads justice to victory. (Matt. 12:18-21). Christ did not bring justice by causing pain and suffering but, with tenderness and compassion for the broken and bruised. The justice that God brings about leads to reconciliation victory that sets the captive free. What does Christ bring to the nations to bring about this justice? "He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed to proclaim of the Lord's favor." (Luke 4:18-19). The righteous justice Jesus brings has to do with God's love for people and nothing to do with punitive suffering, it is God showing love and compassion for the lost, the

God the Righteous Judge...Part 1.

Image
The majority of people, many of them claim to be followers of Jesus, who live in the fear-monger's fear that God is out to get them. There is this idea in the Christian community that God is binocular-ing over the balconies of heaven spying on people to catch them in some wrong-doing so He can shoot lightening bolts on them to inflict suffering on them for their wrong-doings! This is due to Religion primarily seeing seeing God as...Judge...Jury...and Executioner. Since a judge must be impartial, and detached, this judicial image is projected on God and has led us to view the Kingdom of God in in the same way. Many writers of the Scripture picture God in this legalistic medieval way because they relied on their culture, environment and understanding of the way things were in their time and it reflected in their writing and the way they viewed God. Isn't it ironic that this view of God is directly opposite of what we see reflected in Jesus, who is the "EXPRESS IMAGE&

Christ Offers Freedom.

Image
The Community of the Redeemed that Jesus established was never meant to be controlled , regulated and ruled by some hierarchy in a denominated religious building where people are governed by rules and regulations in order to conform to some denomination's constitution and bylaws in order to be considered as a "Child of God". Rather, Jesus invites the redeemed into a transforming relationship with Him that allows us to share in His ever revealing purpose for the Community of Humanity as His character, love and grace develop in us and we allow Him to work through us in demonstrating His love and compassion to the across-our-path people we meet in our daily living of life. Being a follower of Christ is meant to be a relational journey, a relationship with God and with people, not a religion of do's and dont's or shoulda's and coulda's! The Gospel is about helping people discover the joy and freedom of relationship with the Divine. Jesus' death on t

Questioning the Clerical Office.

Image
Is it possible that the office of clergy as a paid profession is neither scriptural or of benefit for the Church that Jesus is building, even though it is beneficial to the  institutional denominated churches? If the answer to the question is no...does that mean there is no need for functioning pastors in the Church that Jesus is building? The fact is, although the clergy-system is probably the   paramount feature of religious denominations, yet it has almost nothing to do with the Post-Cross Covenant or the Church of Jesus Christ. It is fundamentally counter-productive, and is an hindering obstruction to the spiritual health of the Community of the Redeemed. The clergy is a profession and members of the clergy are professionals. Just as lawyers interpret for, and apply the law to people, clergy protects their belief by interpreting the bible, and teaching that interpretation as the truth of God to the people. This profession, like any profession, set up standards of conduct for

Grace Personified.

Image
True GRACE is nothing less than Jesus personified in the earth by a Community of the Redeemed people who have abandoned themselves to Him by abandoning the old way...man's way of pleasing God...to the new way...His way of pleasing God. It is sad but true...in much of religion Grace is paid homage to...only as a word...instead of the Living Word...Jesus. Thus, the reason for religious: hatred, rage, unloving-ness, blaming and shaming, judging and condemning, striving and competing, man-made believing and creed-ing, leading to much discussion and arguments about doctrine correctness. Seeing Grace through religious spectacles sees Grace only as a word and blinds people from seeing that it Grace is JESUS personified in His people.  Within grace-plus religion the emphasis is on what God's people can do to make themselves more pleasing and thus favorable to God. Within authentic Grace, people surrender the idea that they can take care of reaching spiritual greatness or solvi

Are you a KJV-ER only beholder?

Image
If so, what are your thoughts on this gentleman's observation?  "Many have the conception that God inspired the King James “Bible.” Not long since a “professor” wrote me saying that the King James version was ninetynine and fourfifths per cent pure! It is passing strange that men, claiming to be informed, will indulge in such loose statements. Let it be remembered that God inspired the original documents of the Scriptures, but He did not inspire versions made of them by men. It is a rather appalling condition that so many are ignorant of the fact that there were many versions of the Scriptures made before the King James “Bible.” Keeping in mind that God inspired the sacred originals in Hebrew, Chaldee, and Greek, we now give our attention to versions made from them. The ancient versions or translations of the Scriptures into the language of the early saints, shows us the “Bible” as used by men, some of whose parents might easily have seen the apostles themselves.
