Why do Believers Believe what they Believe.
Most
people believe what they believe based on what they have been told by
their denominated denomination's denominated seminarian schooled
professional who is trained to teach the bible as to how it is
interpreted by the denominational hierarchy he has credentials with.
We need to challenge our longstanding and entrenched
traditional religious beliefs because, if our reason for believing what
we believe is to be in the denomination's good books as to what it
means to be a "good Christian" a member in good standing, then we are committing spiritual
adultery and maybe believing a lie.
Believing what you believe because you have been
told what to believe by people who believe what you believe is not the way you ought to believe.
John 4:42 says: Then they said to the woman,“Now we
believe, not because of what you said...been told...for we ourselves have heard Him
and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.
There is power in believing, so make sure your believing is right believing so you won't be snared and empowered by wrong believing.
Let's believe what we believe because it is what Christ believes, that can only happen by having ears to hear the voice of God.
