THE BIBLE: MISUSED, ABUSED, DISTORTED AND DEFORMED! Part 1

"But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God; that we might know the things that were freely given to us of God; which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Spirit teaches; combining spiritual things with spiritual words." (1 Corinthians 2:12-13)

What would you say is the number one responsibility of Bible translators?   Would you not agree that the function of translators is to translate written material from one language into another language, assuring that the text being translated  will project its original meaning to the translated version as precisely as possible?

It is impossible to understand scripture and to know the mind of God without the Spirit's illumination and revelation to make the scripture alive, otherwise, it is mere words on paper.

We must stay with words "which the Spirit teaches" (1 Cor. 2:13) and be careful, when we attempt to explain an idea expressed by these words that the Spirit gives life to, and not misuse, abuse, distort and deform their original meaning...as is done by religious manipulators today.

That is why translators are under great responsibility in making sure they get it right, especially key words.  The changing of one word can literally change the world.

Do they get it right, or do they have something to protect?

If they got it ALL right, would their be the mix-mash of man-made-doctrines, man-made-rules and regulations, and myriads of segregated denominations all claiming to be based on the Bible?
