TheTree of Life.

God is the giver of life, goodness, and blessing... He is love personified and perfect. In Him there is NO EVIL...Yet...we are taught to expect both good and evil from God, who is "Pure Love" and the "Tree of Life."

  How can that be?

Since the very day that Adam ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, man has assumed that God is the source of both. Some people pray and ask God..."their loving Father"...to bless them and beg Him to spare them from curses by promising Him they will do the do's and not do the don'ts. Would it not cause you anguish if your son or daughter came up to you and asked why you were the source of their good and the source of all the bad that happens to them? Would you not feel hurt that your kids whom you love would think in such a way?

God wants nothing more than for His children to enjoy a spiritual satisfying relationship with Him, but it cannot happen without drawing from the source He has provided...Jesus. There are no substitutes that will provide this satisfying relationship...not religion...not religious rule and ritual keeping...not law keeping...not denominational teaching...not the reading of books...net even the reading of the Bible...it is only the Christ life within that wells up as the wellspring of living water satisfying the thirsty soul. There is no correlation between a person's religious zeal performance based activity and the depth of God's life they experience.

 That life is found in Him alone (I John 5:11-12), and only by learning to feast from Him who is the Tree of Life will we experience His life and know the reality that our hearts desperately long for.

That entails receiving nutrients from a different tree than the tree of religious knowledge of Good and Evil that we have grown accustomed to eating from. Receive nutrients from the Tree of Life...Jesus Himself!

 Jesus tells us the source of evil "...[Satan] does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy", who the source of life is..."I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." Do you want to know what God's plan is for living life? Observe Jesus!

 Every good and perfect gift comes from our Father above.

The Abusive Tool of Fear-Mongering.

  Fear mongering is an abusive tool used by religion which cripples and limits one's spiritual growth to mature to the full stature of Christ. The fear mongering propaganda that is used as a means to get people saved speaks volumes about the quality of love used to try and scare people to become Christ followers. The scriptures declare that is is the “goodness of God that leads to repentance.” Another characteristic of  fear mongering believers is that they believe that natural disasters are God’s doing and are warnings or punishment for the sin of sinning people. Their sin consciousnesses has blurred their God consciousnesses to where they see God as the big bad wolf waiting to pounce on somebody for sinning.
