The Devil Religionists' Fight...Is the Devil Defeated.

Religionists act like they believe this image  depicts the devil out side of them and Jesus inside of them due to the wearing of religious spectacles.

Why are the religionists so adamant about fighting the devil, do they not know that the war is over...JESUS WON!

Jesus liberated us...we the liberated should not be fighting a war that is already won...we should be walking in VICTORY...not going around fighting a already defeated foe. We are already TRIUMPHANT! If the devil can tie us up in in fighting him making us believe if was not completely  defeated, he keeps us from fulfilling the purpose of God in the Community of Humanity and the demeans the accomplishment of Jesus on the cross.

Religionists, because they do not understand spiritual warfare, think that the devil is the problem. The devil is not your problem...you are a problem to the devil! We have been so blinded by some of the religious teaching we have received we fail to see the depth of deception we are in. Our biggest problem is our mind. The carnal nature and carnal thinking is our problem.

I realize this is not a traditional concept of the devil, but he is not your problem. The only power that the devil has over you is feeding of your un-renewed mind and your carnal flesh. Once your mind begins to be renewed in the things of God, and transformation begins to renew your mind, you will know that the devil is not the problem. Religionists down through the centuries have blamed their problems on the devil outside of them, instead of taking responsibility for acting on the Adamic nature within them that the devil feeds on.

We all have gone through some terrible times in the past, thinking it was the devil trying to destroy us. There is a law of sowing and reaping but it has nothing to do with sowing a "money seed" or the devil fighting you. "If you sow to the flesh, you will of the flesh reap corruption" (Gal. 6:8). The  best soil for flesh sowing in to reap a bountiful harvest is the "SOIL of RELIGION!

If we are always fighting the devil we know not the Christ within us and we are definitely not allowing HIM to LIVE HIS LIFE through us. His life is the life that defeated the devil and the devil knows it...to bad the religionists don't know it!

Jesus said, "Narrow is the way that leads to life" (Matt. 7:14). I used to think that meant that narrow is the way to go to heaven and few there be that find it. That is the traditional concept. However the narrow way that leads to life is referring to God’s grace life in the here-and-now, not in the great-beyond. Jesus said, "I am come that you might have life" (John 10:10). The life that He refers to here is the life of the Spirit, the abundant life of the Spirit of God flowing in us and out through us by our walking in His statutes. "And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them" (Ezek. 36:27). Does that sound like God's judgements are sending people to hell to suffer for eternity? God desires us to walk in His judgements...not be afraid of them.

God's judgment is to get you to turn to Him, and then from His Spirit within you, you will find the strength to live for Him. When you learn to turn to Him instead of trying to get your natural carnal life to live godly, His Spirit begins to operate in you and enables the Spirit to infiltrate all the areas of your life that need transformation. "If you through the spirit put to death the deeds of the body you shall live" (Rom. 8:13).

So we proclaim liberty (the fact that the devil is defeated) to the captives and the opening of the prison to them that are (religiously) bound. (Isaiah 61:1) (Brackets mine)

The captives are the people bound by religion. The liberated are those freed from the bondage of religion. Which side of the religious prison doors are you on? Are you a liberator, yearning to set others free or are you still in religious bondage, satisfied with your denominated deceptions...and...longing to be set free? Friend Jesus has already set you free but the religious deception you are in keeps you from seeing the open doors in front of you.

Therefore my people (God speaking) are gone into captivity because they have no (true spiritual) knowledge (religion knowledge is void of experiential and revelation understanding); and their honorable men (religious leaders) are famished, and (with nothing to give) their multitude dried up with (spiritual) thirst. (Isaiah 5:13)  (Brackets mine)

To break free each believer must be equipped with the knowledge (understanding and revelation) of the finished work of Christ on the cross and live Grace's enablement and empowerment of Grace  in order for the Truth to set them free to wholly follow the Lord and not the way of religion. With Grace comes liberty and the ability to move through open doors to the religious prison to enjoy a life of liberty focusing on the Grace Freedom of Christ death and resurrection.

Once you are free you long for others to be set free,  because you know the key for seeing that the religious prison doors are open is understanding the Grace and Love of God! Grace is present...condemnation is absent so escape from the religious bondage that is keeping people in deception.

The tragedy is the religionist do not realize they are in religious prison restrained by religious tradition and  wrong doctrine rendering  their minds unteachable! Their total spiritual vision is four walls of their denominational box! They fail to understand that they are on the broad road that leads to spiritual destruction

Grace and Love has opened the religious prison  doors, all  you need to do  is walk out!

It's the war within ourselves. Sometimes it's not the devil but ourselves.

Just wondering how your blog fits scripture like...

    Ephesians 6:11-12 ESV

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

    I'm just curious

Keith Russell Have you ever considered that the spiritual forces within our own mind is the devil ? God granted us the 10 commandments, the laws to live by and at the same time we are given a thought processes that makes us feel guilty if we disobey those laws. I am not saying there is no devil, I am just saying that our own guilt in most cases is the devil within. When we conquer our own personnel guilt in most cases, not all, we will come out a much stronger person. I believe most everything relates to the Ten Commandments in one way or the other. It is the basic foundation that constitutes how we relate to others. The foundation of the Bible is the Ten commandments. God never altered the rules even after Jesus. To me, it is simple, break one of those rules, the devil within has to be dealt with. It is our own self indignation we have to deal with.

Keith, Notice first of all that he doesn’t just tell us to obtain the armor. He doesn’t tell us to obtain it, because it has already been given to each one of us. Each Christian has a complete set of armor from God. 2 Peter 1:3 says that God has given us everything we need for life and godliness.

And notice that this is what Paul hints at here as well. The armor is not ours, but is God’s. Paul calls it the armor of God. It belongs to God, was made by God, and comes from God. It is his, and He has given it to us. That this is God’s armor is seen from passages like Isaiah 11:5 where we read that God has on a belt of righteousness and faithfulness. Or, over in Isaiah 59:17, we read about God wearing a breastplate of righteousness and a helmet of salvation. This armor Paul is talking about in Ephesians 6 is not just armor for us from God, it is actually God’s own armor! These passages in Ephesians which talk about these parts of armor are all in reference to CHRIST. Christ is in us and we a re in Christ.

As Christians, we are given Christ’s clothes to wear. It is said that the clothes make the man, and these clothes – the armor of God – make us who we are and who God wants us to be. Each piece further makes us into a Christ like person. When you have on this armor, you have on the best protection in the universe.

God has given us this wonderful gift to protect us from the enemy in this battle, and we must take it up and put it on. Having the armor does no good unless we wear it. And not just a piece or two, but, as Paul says in verses 11 and 13, the whole armor. If you only put on a few pieces, you leave yourself unprotected and vulnerable in certain areas. So you must wear the armor, and you must wear all of it. To have ALL this armor in place requires an understanding of the finished work of Christ on the cross and His GRACE message.

Jesus Christ has won it all. Just stand with Him, by resting in Him as he works through you. The devil is a defeated foe and Jesus is the victor!

  5. Nelson, a lot of what we blame the devil for is the war within ourselves.
