What is the foundation of pure doctrine?

If the doctrines you contend for is not based on the Doctrine of Love it is "as a tinkling symbol and sounding brass". Doctrinal distinctiveness is grounds for separating the body of Christ, judging and condemning people who believe differently than the religious status-quo and then go on making a point that has nothing to do with Gospel truth. Religion's misunderstanding of the Bible is so misunderstood, it discredits Christ and His Gospel. I wonder...If religious people knew the Doctrine of Love and lived it, would they look at people differently and see them as Jesus sees them? The Doctrine of Love Love Everyone - even your enemies Luke 6:27 - But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you. Love is the Only Commandment of Jesus John 15:12 - This is My Commandment, That ye Love one another, as I have Loved you. You are known for your Love  John 13:35 - By this shall all men know that ye are My Disciples, if ye have Love one for another....

Is Spiritual Unity without Physical Unity, the Unity Jesus prayed for?

Could it be that the exodus of people from denominational “churches” and the declining influence that religion has on people and society as whole a “GOD THING” because RELIGION is not a “GOD THING” but, a “MAN THING”? Is the exodus from religion comprised of a part of HIS “CHURCH” leaving the “church” of man! Is the Church of Jesus Christ on the move to becoming UNITED as ONE BODY under ONE HEAD...JESUS! It matters not how many people are united by the unity thread of religious conformity and meet in buildings called churches, it does not constitute the unity that Jesus prayed for nor is it the Church that Jesus is building! A fresh perspective regarding doctrinal issues which divide the Body of Christ urgently needs to be re-visited from the perspective of what distinguishes latent religious viruses of propaganda and ideology concerning these doctrinal issues which divide rather than unite.  It is not enough to maintain that no matter how much we claim we are united spirit...

Why do Religious People Believe.

Why do religious people believe without reservation that two naked fallible human beings in a Garden ate of the forbidden fruit...that resulted in ALL of humanity being made sinners?  Yet, Jesus..."The God Man"...comes to earth to save the people of the world, was crucified, died, and rose again...but the outcome of being reconciled to God does not apply to ALL people...and because I dare claim Jesus really was 100% successful in His mission to reconcile ALL people of the world to God through His finished work on the cross...some religionists call me an apostate and a heretic traveling the slippery slope that leads to the sinner torture chamber in the fires hell.  There is a big discrepancy in the religionists way of thinking...Most, if not ALL religionists believe in a universal outcome that includes ALL people because of the sin of a mere man named Adam; but when it comes to "The God Man"...Jesus...regarding His sacrifice and His ability to affect ALL people...

God WILL accomplish His WILL.

Because of the finished cross-work of Christ in destroying  sin and death. I believe that: God is both sovereign and love (Eph 1:11, 1 John 4:8) and His love will never cause Him to reject any person, ever. God can accomplish and will accomplish  whatever He wills (Is. 46:10–11, Is. 55:11, Psalm 135:6) wants to save all mankind (1 Timothy 2:4) and reconcile all people back to Himself (Colossians 1:20). Therefore, He will, because nothing can stop Him and no one can resist his ultimate will (Dan. 4:35) God will accomplish His will through Jesus, who is the only way to Father God. (John 14:6) Christ came to do the will of the Father (John 4:34, Heb. 10:9), which ultimately means Jesus came to be the Saviour of ALL people (1 John 4:14, 1 John 2:2) and to save humanity (Matthew 1:21) and abolish death (2 Timothy 1:10) And since the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23), not eternal conscious torture in hell, Jesus was 100% successful on the cross, "It is finished" (John 19:30), by ...

Things I Learned

This is my 71st year on my earthly journey, I would like to share some things I have learned I sincerely wish I learned these things a lot sooner  than I did. I could have been a better son, husband, father and grandfather. Family is a man's most important responsibility. All people are created in the image of God. People are far more important to God than doctrine. In fact, people are the most important thing God. There is only one race in God, s eyes, the human race. God loves all people. Jesus is the Savior of All people. God is GOOD ALL THE Time. God was with Christ on the cross reconciling the people of the world unto Himself. God does not keep a record of your sin. God does not hate you. God is Love. God Loves you as you are. God does not send sickness, natural disasters on people to get their attention. God is not a terrorist and will not asign you  table in the religious torture chamber of hell to suffer for eternity. The religious hell is a myth that is not taught in ...

"God is too holy to look upon sin."

If you grew up in religion and are familiar with the prevalent theology, you will have heard this phrase over and over. In fact, odds are, many of you probably even heard it in church today.  It is plucked from the book of Habakkuk, ripped from its context, and used to instill in people a general sense of distance from God, because He is too holy to even look at us sinners let alone be among us, He basically has to avoid us like the plague. God is too holy to be around sinners, really? "Well you know, God has been in heaven for eternity, He hasn’t built up an immunity to a fallen world. Sin is dangerous to God! You can’t just step into the sin arena and not get contaminated!"  Never mind Jesus that is another point, let's hear what Habakkuk says. Habakkuk says it right there, “Your eyes are too pure to see evil, And You can not look on wickedness.” (Hab. 1:13) Good old Habakkuk, but keep reading, he paints a different picture. Habukkuk continues, “Why then do You ...

Grace and Grace Alone

“May grace and peace be yours in fullest measure” "according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be yours in the fullest measure." (1 Peter 1:2)! I wonder why so many people who claim to to experience God's Grace are content to murk around in the shallowness at the shore of the Ocean of God's Grace without ever launching out where there is the FULLEST of measure to experience. Ought we not to rest in the abundance of God’s wonderful grace and the total sufficiency of all His spiritual resources in the greater grace (James 4:6)  of the all-sufficient, inexhaustible and boundless all-sufficient Grace that our loving God has provided for His created people? For it is Grace that saves us, maintains us, sustains us, endures us, teaches us, empowers us, sanctifies us, justifies us, victory-fie us, and enables us to be effective as His Community of t...

God’s Justice

Religion portrays the Justice of God as the Pharisaical form of justice...get what you deserve type of justice...commit adultery, you get stoned...heal on the Sabbath...and you be a Law-breaker. Justice was not met until the perpetrator paid the time for the crime.  Yes, the God of Justice is the God of Grace. The question is: is the Justice of God what religion says it is...you commit the crime of not saying the "sinner's prayer" and you pay with hell time...no. no I do not have that right, religion believes you pay by being condemned to hell for TIME WITHOUT END! Let's see what the scripture has to say about God's Justice: Learn to do RIGHT! SEEK JUSTICE, ENCOURAGE the oppressed. DEFEND the cause of the fatherless, PLEAD the CASE of the widow. (Isaiah 1:17) This is what the LORD says: “Administer justice every morning; rescue from the hand of his oppressor the one who has been robbed.” (Jeremiah 21:12) Notice HOW we administer justice: it is by encour...

Do Religious Experiences Validate Church Reality?

Religious experiences experienced during programmed-event-driven meetings, no matter how solemn or boisterous the atmosphere, does not resemble true Church reality. What passes for Church in Sunday-event-driven meetings is so far removed from what Church reality is that it fails at even being a cheap imitation.  Some institutionalized churches bring in big name speakers, big name singers and set aside time for special meetings and call what takes place in these event-driven meetings, "Church reality". The meetings are set up by denominational organizers who, in no doubt,  want to do a great work for God, but fail to see that Church reality is about God doing His great work in and through them in their living life 24/7. Institutionalism has reduced the Church of God to a popular belief or assumption that has evolved around man-invented ideologies, is accepted as the norm and is confined behind the four walls of a building doing event-drive-meetings, while God...

Doer and Don’ter Christians

The Scriptures confirm the truth that good and evil are operating in the world. But good has little to do with the forms of religion that Christianity is absorbed in and evil has little to do with the behaviors that are condemned by the religion of do’s and dont’s. Both good and evil compete for the passion of the heart of people. Love is God’s gift to mankind and evil contests this same love with vengeance, the devil wants people to love him and his evil doings instead of God and His doings. Christ’s sacrifice on the cross of torture was not for religion, religious orthodoxy, nor even for Christianity, but for the HEART of people committed to Him in a voluntary love relationship whereby our Heart is His! Who has our HEART? If something has it other than Christ...evil has it, no matter how good or religious we may be! Neither the bible or Church is about DO’s and Don’ts! We have been doing church for so long we are conditioned to believing that it is the right way for it to...

Is Christianity and Judaism Ordained by God?

Not to upset anyone or for anyone to breakout in a heated argument over this or any other of my posts...if your only reason for responding is to argue, judge and condemn then it is better to refrain from explaining your argument...but, the right religion is not the one you, I, or anyone  else has chosen to associate and member with...this includes  the Christian Religions in all its denominational forms. Judaism and Christianity which includes Catholicism and Protestantism  with its myriad of denominations claim to worship the true God. Although  Judaism teaches people to worship the true God, it is not a religion  ordained by God. The Jews did receive their original revelations from  God through Abraham and Moses, but they formed a religion around the  five books of law and developed many man-made traditions rules and regulations. By the time  God Himself came as Jesus, they were already so far astray from God that  they did not rec...
The openness and freedom we are to enjoy as children of God by the provision that Christ secured by His finished work on the cross is unattainable by our sewing together fig leaves of religion to cover our openness as we hide in the bushes of religiosity that shields us from having a honest, open and love relationship with God our Father and Jesus His Son.  As Adam and Eve busied themselves sewing fig leaves together to make them feel they were now worthy to stand in God’s presence, thinking the God could not see through the fig leaves, we busy ourselves obeying and doing religious duties to be clothed in righteousness so we are worthy to stand in His presence. The freedom of being ourselves before God and people is masked by the doing of religious performances, using “Christian” vernacular, covering our humanity with religious spirituality thinking we are revealing a part of ourselves to others that we deem worthy of their acceptance. We go even so far as thinking our religious wo...
